This is the initial simple motion, the paw waving and tail wagging. And the change in expression, I was expecting to use photoshop do this.
Add the foreground image of the trees. I started to stuck on the layers for the tail and body at this point.
Consider the overall atmosphere of the animation, I changed the trees to look curve. And redrew the shape of the cat, as it doesn’t work well in photoshop to achieve dynamic changes, so i want to use aftereffect to make the dynamics smoother. And change the movement to a roll of the eyes and change in body colour, which I think will better feature the Cheshire cat.

final outcome

I finished using after effect for the motion effects because the week rotation happened to be using ae for the effects animation. I spent a lot of time on how to move the eyes and import the footage, and there were a lot of errors in the layer sequence that confused me for a while. I sorted out the layers in ps and cleaned up some of the unnecessary images and got the final result.
